So I began to discover the art of hazzan, liturgical songs. As soon as I took my first steps, I could feel these songs rising up in me from the depths. As if they’d always been there, long before I was. I then understood why I had chosen to go to Moscow to continue my studies. Because here, the art of playing a stringed instrument is first and foremost a vocal art.
